We’re just asking for something really small in return, a tiny bit of respect! Lastly, please respect our TOUs!!! We share our CC although we don’t have to, we’re bringing new stuff to this game as often as possible and to the best of our abilities, we’re available to help or fix things or for WCIFs, we’re even taking requests, our CC is available for free (tho I might rethink it after all of this). You can end up with massive lag, endless loading screens and so many other issues. If you ever feel tempted, please be aware of the risks involved in downloading such a large amount of CC and installing all of it in your game. As you can guess, a lot of the CC in this one is pretty recent. To make it clear, the only way in which I’d find sharing a CC folder acceptable is only if the contained CC is old and no longer available, although there are better ways for that too. The more I scrolled, the more triggered I got which resulted in this post (you can see for yourselves parts of that folder in the screenshots I attached). Granted, I only have 5 items present so maybe I shouldn’t be pissed, but I downloaded the damn thingĪnd started seeing so many names I know.
Let me say it again for the people in the back! 152!!!!!!!!! And she’s not the only creator with a big amount of items in there. So, just to paint a picture, there are 152 items only from IfcaSims in the “Packages” part of that folder, which to me translates as a lot of work for the creator to be able to get so much stuff out for everyone’s use, only to be unjustly redistributed by someone else. I doubt any of you, dear creators, have been asked for permission to have your CC shared by this person. The folder contains items from many Tumblr creators such as and more that I can’t identify at the moment. Yet, there are people who don’t give a crap about said TOU or even about us as real people behind that CC.Īs such, the video I linked above showcases a TS3 CC folder made available for download a few hours ago.
I even have a TOU to make sure everyone understands that bit. To me is definitely not OK because that means redistributing CC that someone has worked a lot on. Something nefarious has been brought to my attention earlier today and I want to make everyone aware of it.įirstly, let me ask you this: what’s your opinion about the practice of sharing CC folders?
